A new fully funded programme designed to help Worcestershire’s digital businesses accelerate growth, adopt AI, and prepare for investment has officially launched.

Delivered by BetaDen, Worcestershire’s multi-award-winning organisation providing support for innovative businesses, the Digital & AI BootCamp will provide a cohort of up to 12 ambitious businesses with expert-led workshops, one-to-one mentoring, and access to industry specialists across a 12-week programme.

Based at the Old Court in Kidderminster, the BootCamp is specifically targeted to scale digital businesses across Worcestershire, offering practical support in key areas, including AI strategy & implementation, cybersecurity, pathways to accreditations, compliance & legal, innovation coaching, marketing, international expansion, and investment readiness.

Participants will also receive dedicated pitch training, with the opportunity to refine their proposition in front of experienced professionals and to be introduced to an active angel investor network. A select number of participants will also have the opportunity to progress to a live pitch competition, with a chance to win a cash prize.

Donston Powell, External Affairs Director at BetaDen, said: “Worcestershire is home to a growing number of innovative digital businesses with significant potential to scale. This BootCamp has been designed to equip them with the tools, confidence, and strategic connections needed to take that next step.

“From embedding AI into their business models to becoming investment-ready, we’re delivering hands-on, practical support that will drive meaningful growth not just for the businesses involved, but for the wider regional economy.”

Chris Orr, Lead of Catalyse Angel Network, said: “We’re really excited to be involved in this programme and to have the opportunity to connect with a strong pipeline of emerging digital businesses from across Worcestershire.

“Programmes like this play a crucial role in preparing businesses for that journey, and we’re looking forward to working with the participants and seeing some truly exciting ideas come through.”

Starting on the 9th of September 2026, the programme will be delivered through a combination of in-person group sessions and tailored one-to-one support, ensuring businesses receive both strategic insight and practical guidance relevant to their individual needs.

Places on the BootCamp are limited, with priority given to businesses based within the programme’s funding districts, namely Bromsgrove District Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Redditch Borough Council, and Wyre Forest District Council.

The launch builds on BetaDen’s track record of supporting technology-led businesses across the region, as it continues to play a key role in positioning Worcestershire as a hub for digital innovation, with over 150+ businesses supported.

Applications for the Digital Bootcamp are now open. Eligibility criteria apply. For further details and to apply, visit: https://www.beta-den.com/bootcamp/
