BetaDen recently welcomed a delegation of entrepreneurs and inventors to its headquarters at Malvern Hills Science Park.
The visitors from Japanese Technology Accelerator, Leave a Nest, were hosted by Jack Wratten of BLOOM.SPACE, who encouraged the group to add Worcestershire to their annual UK visit programme before continuing to Oxford and London.
The Leave a Nest delegation was in the UK to explore the technical entrepreneurship ecosystem, make links with UK businesses and investigate support and investment opportunities.
At BetaDen they were met by CEO and Founder, Linda Smith. An opportunity was provided for the visitors to network with several members of Betaden’s ‘Cohort 2’, all of whom are based at the accelerator on the Science Park and have been supported by BetaDen’s unique accelerator support package worth around £50,000.
Linda Smith commented: “We hope to develop many international opportunities for collaboration and future partnership and grow the technology ecosystem of Worcestershire.”
