Cohort 8.0 founders HDA have been nominated for awards in 5 separate categories at the 2025 Smart Building Awards.
We're incredibly proud to share that Cohort 8.0 founders HD Anywhere have been shortlisted for awards in 5 separate categories at the 2025 Smart Building Awards, taking place at EI Live - the UK's AV & Smart Home trade show.
HDA, headed by Chris Pinder and Dillan Patni, are the business behind uControl - an all-in-one smart home control system that brings TV's, audio systems and smart lighting together under one umbrella and features Britain's first smart remote control.
On their back of their hugely innovative work in the smart home sphere, HDA have received nominations for the 2025 Smart Building Awards in the following categories.
1. Best Training (uControl Specialist Training)
2. Best Dedicated Touch Screen or Controller (uControl Wall Mode)
3. Best Software Release or Update (uOS 11)
4. Best Matrix (MHUB S)
5. Manufacturer of the Year (HDA for all the above)
We'd like to give a massive congratulations to HDA for this exceptional achievement, and we hope to see them bring home the award in all their nominated categories in Farnborough on the 17th September.
