Businesses are being invited to the ‘Worcestershire 1000’ events to gain more information on how to use the new Worcestershire brand and toolkit, as well as the upcoming plans for the new profile throughout 2019.

The Worcestershire 1000 events will take place at the following two venues during February:

  • Friday 1st February 2019 at Worcester Warriors, Sixways Stadium from 8am to 10:30am
  • Wednesday 13th February 2019 at The Artrix, Bromsgrove from 10:30am to 1pm

The Worcestershire brand has been designed to give an identity to businesses inside the county and attract investment from outside the county. The new profile has been made to appeal to people of all ages and showcase Worcestershire as an exceptional place to live, work, visit and invest.

The brand was launched at the Worcestershire LEP Annual Conference 2018 where over 400 businesses heard about the vision for this new profile. The brand also has a newly launched website with more information on the aim and vision of the new profile. Click here to view the website.

The ‘Worcestershire’ brand has drawn upon the advice of 20 leading businesses and institutions including Worcester Bosch, Gtech, Morgan Motors, Worcester Warriors, University of Worcester, Worcestershire Ambassadors, West Midland Safari Park and Heller Machine Tools. The brand has been created and will be managed by a partnership of Worcestershire LEP, Worcestershire County Council, drp, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and all six district councils.
