This practical, hands-on session will focus on app iteration, testing, exporting and deployment. You'll learn how to work with AI to enhance functionality, fix issues, improve user experience, and prepare your application for launch on platforms such as the App Store, Google Play, web hosting platforms and other deployment environments.
You built it. Now let's get it live.
In Part 1, delegates learned how to turn an idea into a working application using AI-powered development tools. In this follow-on workshop, you'll take your project to the next stage by improving, refining and preparing it for real-world use.
This is a live, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn by doing, not just watching. You can follow along step-by-step on your own laptop as we turn your existing app prototype into something that actually works, and by the end of the session, you can have a live link to a working app that you can use and share.
By the end of the session, you will:
How to review and improve your AI-built application
Techniques for refining functionality and user experience
Using AI to troubleshoot bugs and make enhancements
Exporting your project from Replit and other AI development environments
Understanding deployment options for web and mobile applications
Preparing apps for submission to app stores and other platforms
Best practices for testing, iteration and launch
Who is it for?
This workshop is designed for people who have already started their AI app-building journey. Delegates should ideally have attended Part 1 of this workshop.
If you did not attend Part 1, you should already have:
- A basic understanding of Replit and Claude
- Experience using AI to build or modify a simple application
- Ideally completed a small "vibe coded" project of your own
This session will build directly on concepts introduced in Part 1 and will not cover the fundamentals of getting started with AI app development.
No coding experience needed
If you wish to follow along with the demonstration and learn how to deploy your own app, you will need to bring your own laptop. If you haven't already, you will also need to set up a free account on Replit and Claude (or other AI tool of choice, such as ChatGPT or Gemini). We’ll send you an email to explain how to set this up at least 7 days before the workshop takes place.
